Ear Force PX5 vs Pulse wireless gaming stereo headset Elite edition for PS3

Ear Force PX5 is around $60 more expensive than Pulse, if you are thinking to get Pulse, how about checkout this surround gaming headset ? With more 60$ adding, what you’ll get from Ear Force PX5 is a surround sound that decoded from its surround decoding stand, while with Pulse, what you will get is a stereo sound that simulate into 7.1 channels  or I can say it is a fake surround ! but also you can feel the vibration from Pulse, that’s cool and also you can use this headset for your other devices since it comes with 3.5 mm cable.

Another of downside against Pulse wireless gaming stereo headset Elite edition  of Ear Force PX5 is, this gaming headset use AA batteries ! personally, I preferred a built-in lithium ion because I think it is more convenience no need to buy batteries just plug in USB charger and don’t forget that AA battery cause weight on your gaming headset, but in contrast, Ear Force PX5 is one of a few Turtle Beach headsets for PS3, Turtle Beach has a good reputation in gaming headset market for a long time, it is a good brand for gamers, and since your PS3 Super Slim (or Slim) comes with the Blu-ray drive, Ear Force PX5 allows you to enjoy you movie with a surround sound experience that Pulse wireless gaming stereo headset Elite edition could not offer.

So, what is the verdict, actually these two gaming headsets have difference approaches, while Sony Pulse  wireless gaming stereo headset Elite edition focuses on vibration, virtual surround, USB charger and regular headphones look for multipurpose, Ear Force PX5 focuses on how to deliver a good PS3 gaming and movie watching and if you like music listening. You may need to ask yourself do you really need that surround sound ? If you don’t have surround system in your room, I think Turtle Beach PX5 is the best choice, but if you are already have a home theater system and this could be your late night gaming headset, I think Pulse wireless gaming stereo headset Elite edition is a better choice.
